Sterling Premium Select on Johnston St. in Lafayette, LA is hiring! We are looking for motivated individuals who take pride in serving Acadiana and being a part of a successful family-owned and operated business.

As a Dealership Driver / Automotive Detailer, you will primarily be responsible for safely transporting vehicles between Sterling Automotive Group dealership locations while also assisting with vehicle detailing and maintaining the appearance of inventory. This is an entry-level opportunity with room for growth within the automotive industry.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Safely transport vehicles between Sterling Automotive Group dealership locations
• Pick up and deliver vehicles as needed to support dealership operations
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures while operating vehicles
• Inspect vehicles for obvious issues before and after transportation and report any concerns
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle pickups, deliveries, and transfers as needed
• Assist with washing, drying, and detailing vehicle interiors and exteriors
• Vacuum interiors and clean upholstery, carpets, and surfaces
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, showroom, and vehicle lots
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age OR have 3 years of licensed driving experience, due to insurance purposes
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Previous professional driving or automotive experience preferred but not required
• Automotive detailing experience preferred but not required
• Strong attention to safety and ability to operate vehicles responsibly
• Coachable with strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Must be willing to submit to pre-employment background check and drug screen

Schedule: Full-time, may require some Saturdays
