Sterling Automotive Group is hiring! We are looking for outgoing individuals who take pride in serving Acadiana and being part of a successful family-owned and operated business.

As a Wholesale Title Clerk, you will be responsible for processing title documents related to wholesale vehicle transactions, dealer trades, and auction sales. This role ensures all title work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and local, state, and federal laws.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process and prepare title documents for wholesale transactions, dealer trades, and auction sales
  • Ensure proper reassignment of titles and accuracy of all supporting documentation
  • Submit and track title paperwork with appropriate state agencies and third-party vendors
  • Communicate with internal departments, dealerships, auctions, and lienholders to obtain required documents and resolve title issues
  • Maintain organized records of vehicle purchases, sales, payoffs, and title status
  • Research and resolve title discrepancies, delays, or missing documentation
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company guidelines

Qualifications and Job Requirements

  • One or more years of experience as a Title Clerk in an automotive dealership setting is required
  • Strong understanding of title processing, including out-of-state and dealer-to-dealer transactions
  • A team player with a great attitude who maintains a professional demeanor and appearance
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with computers and office equipment such as scanners, fax machines, and multi-line phone systems
  • Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Schedule

Full-time, Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
