Automotive Detailer

Sterling KIA is looking for dependable Automotive Detailers who take pride in their work and want to be part of a successful, family-owned dealership serving Acadiana.

In this role, you will help prepare vehicles for delivery and maintain the appearance of vehicles on our lot and in our showroom. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone looking to get started in the automotive industry with room to grow.

Schedule

Full-time
Includes rotating Saturdays

What You'll Do

• Wash, dry, and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors
• Vacuum vehicle interiors to remove dirt and debris
• Clean upholstery, carpets, and interior surfaces using proper products and tools
• Maintain cleanliness of the showroom, vehicle lot, and work areas
• Support the Sales and Service departments by ensuring vehicles are presentation-ready
• Safely move and park vehicles on the lot and in service areas
• Follow all safety procedures while operating vehicles and equipment
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions

What We're Looking For

• Automotive detailing experience preferred but not required
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Coachable and willing to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and positive attitude

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Must be at least 18 years old due to insurance requirements
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks
