Sterling Ford Lincoln in Opelousas, LA is looking for motivated individuals who take pride in serving Acadiana and want to be part of a successful, family-owned and operated business.
Our Pickup and Delivery Drivers play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our service department. They assist service advisors and managers by transporting vehicles to and from local service appointments, as well as maintaining a clean and safe work environment across our dealership. This position does not involve out-of-state travel and does not require a Chauffeur's License or CDL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport vehicles between the dealership and local service appointments
- Assist customers with transportation arrangements off-premises
- Move vehicles within the dealership lot, ensuring proper parking and positioning
- Work outdoors, handling vehicles in various weather conditions
- Stand and walk for most of the workday
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in the shop, showrooms, and vehicle lots
What We’re Looking For:
- A demonstrated clean driving record and commitment to safe driving practices
- Coachability with strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor and appearance
- Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be at least 21 years of age or have 3 full years of driving experience
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
