Sterling KIA is looking for experienced Automotive Technicians who take pride in their work and want to be part of a successful, family-owned dealership serving Acadiana.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday–Friday 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
One Saturday per month: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM


What You'll Do

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair customer and dealership vehicles following manufacturer guidelines
  • Use diagnostic equipment and tools to troubleshoot vehicle concerns
  • Work with service advisors and fellow technicians to ensure accurate repair estimates and updates
  • Install vehicle components and systems as needed
  • Document diagnostic findings and repair recommendations
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Follow all dealership and industry safety standards
  • Stay current on evolving automotive technology through ongoing training

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years professional automotive repair experience
  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills
  • Experience with computerized diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced service environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Team-oriented with good communication skills

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Must be at least 18 years old or have 3 full years of driving experience for insurance purposes
  • Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
